Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Palm Beach County is a nonprofit organization improving birth outcomes through the compassionate and equitable delivery of early prenatal care, education, and support for all pregnant women across our communities.
HMHB offers a variety of programs focused on improving all aspects of maternal health in our community. Programs offered include prenatal screening and care coordination, health care navigation, emotional support groups, group prenatal care, teen mom mentoring, educational classes, doula training, and a pantry providing baby basics.
HMHB is the Prenatal Entry Agency for the Children!s Services Council of Palm Beach County's Healthy Beginnings system of care.

Description
HMHB provides free childbirth classes through the Florida Outreach Childbirth Education Program (FOCEP). The classes aim to prepare parents for the birth of their baby by covering such topics including the stages of labor and delivery, labor support techniques, breathing and relaxation strategies, pain management, and C-sections. Pregnant women typically attend these classes within the seventh month (third trimester) of their pregnancy. Support partners are welcome to join the class.

Description
Individuals may receive no more than one pack of diapers, one container of formula and one baby food pack per child per 30 days. -Women who are pregnant may receive newborn diapers once during their 3rd trimester. Proof of pregnancy will be verbal and documented on intake form. -Diapers are available for children ages 0-3. -Formula is available for children ages 0-12 months. -Infant food packs are available for children ages 4-12 months. -Special needs children older than age 3 will be served with proper documentation on file (IEP, etc.)

Circle of Moms is designed to support the one in five women who will experience depression and other mood and anxiety disorders before, during, and after pregnancy. Description
Provides assistance to pregnant women and teens in navigating the systems involved in obtaining health care and a payor source. Serve as interpreters, advocates and supporters providing extra help to clients having difficulty understanding the requirements of the public assistance system, and translating information from forms needed to complete the eligibility process, as well as assisting in interpretation at appointments.

Description
Through prenatal screening, assessment and linkage to services, we support pregnant women in need of prenatal care, health care navigation, medical payment source and other intensive social service needs to improve birth outcomes. Access to care, outreach education and social support of our pregnant families is the core of our work where local medical providers, public and nonprofit agencies are our greatest partners in accessing prenatal health services.
