A peer-operated, recovery oriented environment that provides a safe, friendly, supportive and confidential place where people with similar experiences are not judged. For adults diagnosed with a mental illness such as: clinical depression, bipolar depression, schizophrenia, schizo-affective disorder or dual diagnosis and taking prescribed psychotropic medication, the center provides a home away from home to promote self-esteem and reduce isolation and loneliness. Open 365 days of the year, the Center empowers consumers and improve their quality of life; members are respected and offer peer support to one another. Recreational and social activities are offered to all members to promote a supportive, active and empowering atmosphere as members actively participate in their recovery.
