Medical Equipment/Assistive Technology Donation Programs

Programs that accept assistive technology equipment (i.e., equipment, appliances and assistive aids for people with disabilities), sickroom equipment, medical bandages, respiratory aids and other medical supplies that are required by people who are convalescing following surgery or illness, refurbish them if necessary, and keep them for use in their own program or donate them to other community-based organizations for their own use or for distribution to the people they serve.

Mobile Device Donation Programs

Programs that accept portable computing, communications or entertainment devices, refurbish them if necessary, adapt them for special uses, as desired, and keep them for use in their own program or donate them to other community-based organizations for their own use or for distribution to the people they serve. Vehicle Donation Programs

In most cases, donated vehicles are sold to raise funds for the organization, but some programs repair the vehicles, if necessary, and keep them for their own use, give them to individuals or families who have no means of private transportation or donate them to other nonprofit organizations for use in their program or for distribution to the people they serve.
