Description
Provides jobs to women in recovery facing obstacles to employment after overcoming challenges of addiction, abuse and trauma. Women who go thru the Wellness Works for Women in Recovery program are paid employees of the social enterprise, an eCommerce shop that makes custom hand made gifts. Participants play a role in fulfilling customer orders, product development, and leading the growth of social enterprise in a safe and supportive work environment.
Hours
Monday-Friday / 8:30 am-4:30 pm
Required Documents
Authorization to work in the US.
Eligibility
Women in recovery. Must be over the age of 18 and meet eligiblity requirements for both work and recovery.
Fees
No fees charged.
Intake Procedure
Job screening and interview process. Complete program participant inquiry online by visiting the careers page of website her2ndchance.org or email hr@2ci.org.
