Description:
Provides program that lowers internet cost for eligible families that ensures affordable broadbband access.
Eligible households may receive the following benefits:
1. Up to $30 month discount for internet service
2. Up to $75 month discount for households on qualifying Tribal lands
3. A one time $100 discount for purchase of a laptop, dektop computer, or tablet from participating providers.
The Affordable Connectivity Program is limited to one monthly service discount and one device discount per household.

Eligibility
A household is eligible for the ACP if one (or more) household member meets at least one of the following criteria: 1. Has an income that is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines; 2. Participates in certain assistance programs, such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Public Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, or Lifeline 3. Participates in Tribal specific programs, such as Bureau of Indian Affairs General Assistance, Tribal TANF, or Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations 4. Is approved to receive benefits under the free and reduced-price school lunch program or the school breakfast program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year 5. Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year; or 6. Meets the eligibility criteria for a participating provider's existing low-income program.
Fees
No fees charged.
Intake Procedure
In order to receive the discount, eligible households must complete both of the following: 1. Go to ACPBenefit.org and use the online application or print out a mail-in application. 2. Contact preferred participating internet provider to select a plan and have the discount applied to bill.
