Serves Palm Beach County, Indian River County, St Lucie County, Martin County and Okeechobee County by providing suicide prevention, information, assessment and referral to people in need, including homeless. When required, callers are also assisted by linking them with the appropriate agencies and/or by providing advocacy to help them negotiate the maze of services.
Also provides telephone counseling, crisis intervention for individuals of all ages experiencing personal problems, emotional distress, thoughts of suicide and emergencies such as drug overdoses. Trained staff use active listening and non-directive counseling techniques.
Collects and maintains the community health and human services resource database for Palm Beach County, Indian River County, St Lucie County, Martin County and Okeechobee County.

Provides 24 hour crisis Hotline services and coordinates crisis responses in conjunction with Palm Beach County Victim Services for victims and survivors of sexual assault, homicides, domestic violence, home invasions and other violent crimes. Certified Hotline advocates provide telephone based crisis counseling, safety planning, referrals for safe shelter, and other needed services. Referrals are also made to Victim Services Advocates who provide follow-up services, to meet the specific need of each victim and their significant others.
