      Service Enriched Housing Program

      Description

      The Service Enriched Housing program offers housing to low-income,families who wish to move into home ownership within two years. Rent is calculated based at 30% of the family's gross income, and any amount paid above $650 is placed in escrow to be used for credit repair or home ownership. The program offers a credit repair plan, first-time home buyers' classes, case management, counseling and other support services.

        Neighborhood Stabilization Program 2

        Description

        The Neighborhood Stabilization Program offers housing to low-income families. Housing unit are located throughout the city of Lake Worth Beach. Residents pay roughly one-third of fair market rent for the area and are connected to support services and resources through comprehensive case management.

        Housing Stabilization Program

        Description

        Provides emergency assistance to families who have fallen behind on their rent or mortgage due to a temporary crisis. Program services include case management and referrals to ancillary supports.

        Eligibility

        Must meet the following criteria. 1. 3-day notice or threat of homelessness. 2. Must have the income to sustain housing if assisted. 3. Proof of crisis. Serves families with minor children only. Must have some source of income (i.e. employment, disability, death benefits or child support)

        Intake Procedure

        Call for initial screening. Preference is given to families facing eviction. Must be able to provide proof of income and proof of circumstance.Landlord must be willing to accept payment from third party and halt eviction process if payment rendered.
