Description

Provides all school aged, in and aging out of foster care, with every available opportunity to transition to independence with their best foot forward. Improving the outcomes for youth in foster care as they transition to adult life by advocating for them, connecting them to existing services and programs, and collaborating with local businesses to provide additional resources. The goal is to ensure students are on an appropriate track to graduate high school by monitoring his/her credits, class schedule, teachers, performance, and attendance. Services continue until student has graduated and has transitioned to post-secondary school.
