Description:

Boca Helping Hands (BHH) is a community-based nonprofit that provides hunger relief, access to healthcare, financial assistance, and job training. Through its various programs, BHH assists over 27,000 people annually.

HUNGER RELIEF PROGRAMS:
Hot Meal Program: A hot, nutritious meal can be picked up Monday- Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at main facility in East Boca and Fridays from 4:30-6 pm in Lake Worth on a drive-thru basis. This program is open to anyone and no identification will be requested.

Pantry Bag Program: Qualifying Palm Beach County residents can enroll to receive pantry bags of groceries. This program is for families living at or below the poverty level determined by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). If currently enrolled in SNAP, TANF, or Medicare/Medicaid, will automatically qualify. Registration is completed in-person during first visit and renewed annually. BHH has five pantry bag distribution locations between Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Boynton Beach, and Lake Worth. Visit BocaHelpingHands.org/PantryBagProgram for hours and locations.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE (Resource Center):
Emergency Financial Assistance: Offers referrals and limited financial assistance for overdue rent and utilities to qualifying Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Greenacres, and Palm Springs residents in crisis. Learn more and apply at BocaHelpingHands.org/FinancialResources

Children's Assistance Program (CAP): CAP helps working parents by providing limited financial assistance for summer camp, after-school care, and daycare for qualifying Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Lake Worth, Greenacres and Palm Springs residents of 1 year or longer. HEALTHCARE:
Medical, dental, and behavioral care vouchers are available to qualifying uninsured Palm Beach County residents at partner healthcare providers. Learn more at BocaHelpingHands.org/Healthcare.

EDUCATION:
Professional Development Classes: Free health and wellness, financial management, and ESOL classes are available and open to Palm Beach County residents. Learn more at BocaHelpingHands.org/Education.

Job Training Program (JTP): For qualified applicants seeking new careers, BHH offers 100% tuition assistance for 11 job training programs for careers in healthcare, construction, IT, and transportation. BHH partners with various accredited schools to provide students with industry-approved certifications and hands-on training. Learn more at BocaHelpingHands.org/JTP.
