Description:
Center for Creative Education is an umbrella organization that encompasses multiple educational initiatives. Through their C.A.D.R.E. program, CCE serves thousands of students in afterschool and summer programs across Palm Beach County. Blue Planet, which recently joined the CCE family, is an educational service that fosters classroom collaborations with international schools where students use creative practices to share their culture and tackle global problems. CCE also provides opportunities for education and art majors at local universities to expand their skills by doing pre-service work at The Foundations School.
The Foundations School is a K-5 independent school focused on improving literacy and weaving the arts into academic subjects. At the end of last year, 89% of third graders at The Foundations School were reading on or above grade level compared to 21.5% in surrounding schools. The Foundations School uses a sliding fee scale to determine family contributions to tuition and applies significant scholarships to cover the balance.

The Foundations School
Description
The Center for Creative Education's (CCE's) independent, The Foundations School, is open to all students in grades K-5. Its mission is to disrupt educational inequality by successfully teaching all students the foundations of learning a curriculum engagement, social emotional well-being, creative practice, reading proficiency, and academic achievement.
Hours
Monday-Friday 8:00am to 3:00pm, with early dismissal at 2:00pm on Wednesdays

Fee based program, but grants may be available, especially for children at risk of educational failure in schools.
