Eligibility
Must be Palm Beach County residents who are parents of children with new dependency petitions where substance abuse is identified as an issue for parent(s). Case jurisdiction is in PBC. Primary goal for the family must be reunification. Parent(s) must admit to the abuse/neglect allegation(s).
Fees
No fees charged.
Intake Procedure
Must sign the acknowlegement and agreement to participate. Judge signs order to participate at time of initial hearing. Case is transferred from PI unit or CM unit to assigned FDC managers. GAL are assigned to case as well. All hearing, JR's, Case Plan approvals, orders etc happen in front of Judge Knoll during the FDC docket which is every Wednesday from 3pm.
