Sisters Empowering Sisters Breastfeeding Support Program
Description
Provides breastfeeding support services. To build trusting relationships in order to promote breastfeeding in a primarily African American community, and to promote breastfeeding for at least 6 months. The support counselor can do in person, phone or online breastfeeding education and assistance.
Hours
7 days a week, days, evening and weekends.

Breastfeeding women residing in zip codes 34950 and 34947.

Laboratory
Description
Full service laboratory; some test are performed in the Department of Health's Laboratory at 714 Ave C. Fort Pierce, FL 34950. Some are sent to our reference laboratory. Prescriptions can also be brought to the lab to be cloned.

Sisters empowering sisters Doula program. Creating a Positive Birth Experience
Description
Provides women continuous labor support during her labor and delivery. This includes monthly prenatal visits, continuous labor support, and up to 2 months of post partum support. The goal is for high risk women to have improved birth outcomes and lower infant mortality rates.

Call 772-462-3955 to register. Once registered a Doula will make an appointment to visit the client at home for the intake and follow up services.
