Description:
Provides 24 hour /7 days a week residential shelter and group care for abandoned/ neglected/ and or abused children in a family like setting. The aim is to reunite children with their birth families, or when appropriate to assist in finding loving relatives or adoptive families. The goal is always what is in the best interest of the children.
Also provides center-based respite care for special needs children in Palm Beach County. The program has certified caregivers who possess extensive experience working with children who are affected by varying forms of disability including; developmental, physical, cognitive, etc. The homelike facility is located in a quaint residential neighborhood and offers a warm and inviting setting. All respite workers have met rigorous employment criteria and have passed federal background screenings. In addition, the staff receives regular annual training on a variety of issues directly related to respite care for the disabled.

Respite Care for Children with Disabilities
Description
Provides respite services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year to parents and caregivers of children with special needs children between the ages of 0-12.

Proof of Palm Beach County residency, age, and documented disability.
Eligibility
Child must have a documented disability and be between birth and 12.

No fees.

There is an initial screening form and Intake Information package on the website that must be completed and submitted.
