Description
Provides a fun, safe, and structured opportunity for one on one mentoring for children. Children 2nd-5th grade must either attend the elementary school or the after school program where the mentoring is located in Lake Worth; Highland Elementary School, SAC after school program or the Guatelmalan-Maya After school Program. Mentoring provides an opportunity for the youth to develop to their fullest potential and develop better life skills. Matches have many opportunities to participate in fun field trips together with the mentoring program. Mentors: Volunteer Opportunities for Adults 18+. Mentors must complete an interviewed and thorough background check. The mentor will be supervised, trained and supported in order to provide an optimal mentoring experience for the child. Mentors are encouraged to have weekly contact with their mentees.
