Description:
BRIDGES, a program of the Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County, provides workshops and practical advice to help parents raise their children, and helps to connect families to community providers for food, shelter, medical care and other every day needs. Information is provided on wellness for adults and children, and on help getting medical care for babies, pregnant women, and families with young children. BRIDGES coordinates with organizations and creates partnerships within the community and within Community Partners of South Florida to reduce duplication and increase service efficiency so more children are born healthy, remain free from abuse and neglect, are ready for kindergarten, and are on grade level by the end of 3rd grade.

Monday, Thursday / 8:30 am-8 pm, evenings by appointment; Wednesday, Friday / 8:30 am-5 pm; 1st Saturday of each month / 10 am-2 pm

Description
Provides tips and workshops for parents, information on healthy ways to help children grow and learn, fun family events, help connecting to community resources, and more. Supports partnerships between organizations and residents of the communities to address and improve common social conditions that affect children and their families, with focus on community building and strengthening existing community assets.
