Description:

The Supervisor of Elections is a constitutional officer elected to serve a four-year term. He/she conducts all governmental elections in the County. This office is also responsible for registering eligible County residents as voters and maintaining the registration rolls.

VOTER REGISTRATION - To become a registered voter, a person must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years of age, and a legal resident of the county of Florida in which that person seeks to be registered. A person who is otherwise qualified may pre-register on or after that person's 16th birthday. The registration books close 29 days before each election. A Florida Voter Registration Application is available by mail, or by calling the above listed number, or on the website. Applications are also available at city halls, public assistance agencies, public libraries, driver's license offices and all Supervisor of Elections offices.

Voting by Mail Ballot - Under Florida law all qualified voters are permitted to vote by
mail ballot. A request for mail ballot can be made in person, by mail, by telephone or online at the website. All voted mail ballots must be received by our office no later than
7 pm on Election Day. Do not return your voted mail ballot to a polling place.
