      Description

      The Emergency Operations Ceter (EOC) is a centralized facility where emergency management personnel gather to coordinate and manage response and recovery efforts during disasters or emergencies. EOCs serve as the comman-and-control center for emergency operations, bringing together representatives from various agencies, organizations, and departments involved in response and recovery efforts.               Special Needs Sheltering

              Description

              A special needs shelter, also known as a medical shelter or medical special needs shelter, is a facility established during a disaster or emergency to provide temporary housing and specialized care for individuals with disabilities, chronic medical conditions, or other special needs that require assistance beyond what a standard shelter can provide. The goal of a special needs shelter is to ensure the safety, well-being, and dignity of individuals with special needs during a disaster by providing them with the necessary support and resources to meet their unique needs and facilitate their recovery process. Registration is required.
