The Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller supports all of Palm Beach County's criminal and civil courts by processing, recording and filing documents such as traffic tickers, lawsuits, divorce agreements, wills, child support agreements, domestic violence petitions, and tenant evictions.
The Circuit Civil Court handles cases with damages over $15,000. The County Civil Court handles civil cases with damages under $15,000 and operates at the central courthouse and at branch courthouses.
