Description
Provided by Palm Beach County Fire Rescue in cooperation with the Safe Kids coalition. There is a central phone to call for all locations. If a parent needs a seat or their current seat is recalled or doesn't fit the child they will need to let the location know when they call. There is a $25 donation fee for the seat.

Description
Provides citizens the opportunity to compile important health, medical, insurance and emergency contact information. Fire Rescue and Law Enforcement personnel can utilize this data in the event of an emergency when a patient or victim is unable to speak and answer important questions that can have a significant affect on medical treatment. The Vial of Life packet is a two-sided piece of paper tht should be completed for each family member. The completed form(s) are to be placed in the plastic pouch provided and attached to the refrigerator so it is accessible to emergency responders. It is vital that this information be kept updated as physicians and medications change.

Description
Designed to reduce the number of juvenile set fires. It is offered to juveniles who show a curiosity for setting fires or playing with matches, or for juveniles that have set a fire and found to have been directly associated with the cause of the fire. Any juvenile that causes a circumstance determined to have been from any criminal intent is not eligible for this program unless it is through a court- order. The program has three components: an educational component, discussing consequences of actions and a mental health portion that offers up to 12 counseling sessions. The class is held at the PBC Fire Rescue Headquarters.
