Reserve deputies come from all walks of life including, doctors, accountants, airline pilots, ministers, office workers, clerks, and former police officers. The one trait these people have in common is the desire to help the community. Reserve Deputies have the opportunity to work in the law enforcement field without giving up their chosen profession. Reserve Deputies help their community by providing added security to neighborhoods in Palm Beach County. They assist law enforcement in many facets such as: normal road patrol; specialized units such as marine, aviation, traffic; and tactical investigations.
