Description:
Explorer program sanctioned by the Boy Scouts of America . Explorers attend regular weekly meetings, and have various training in law enforcement related topics. They also participate in many fund raising events throughout the community, helping with crowd and traffic control, fingerprinting children and other activities. Explorer posts attend delegates meetings with other law enforcement posts, compete in such events such as traffic stops, accident investigation, search and arrest, crime prevention and pistol competitions.

Ages 11-14 (Junior Explorer) or 15 to 21 . Must be a full-time student and carry a grade C or above in all classes.
