Description:
Palm Tran runs seven days a week (excluding holidays) serving more than 3,200 bus stops with 150 buses. Weekday peak service runs every 30 minutes. Off-peak service runs every 60 minutes. Weekend service runs hourly on most routes. Timed-Transfer points allow for easy movement from the north/south main routes to the east/west routes. Palm Tran also serves several park-and-ride lots throughout Palm Beach County.
All Palm Tran buses are equipped with wheelchair ramps, automatic stop announcement systems, bike racks and audio/video surveillance equipment.

Special Notes/Funding
Passengers on the fixed route service will be boarding from the rear door of the bus, as the front of the bus will be taped off prohibiting passengers from sitting in the front seats of the bus. If a fixed route Bus Operator encounters a customer utilizing a scooter or wheelchair, the Operator will advise the customer that a Palm Tran Connection Bus Operator will be dispatched to pick them up and take them to the stop along the route they originally intended to travel to.

Eligibility
Reduced fare passengers (seniors, disabled citizens and students) must present proper ID when boarding. Connection eligible passengers with a valid Connection ID may ride any Palm Tran bus at the reduced fare. Senior - a person age 65 years or older with an ID issued by Palm Tran, a Medicare card, a valid driver's license, or Florida State ID card. Student - a person 21 or younger with an ID issued from a college, university, trade school or Palm Tran. Disabled - a person who has received an ID card issued by Palm Tran Connection based on documented disability. Rides Palm Tran fixed route free.

FEES Adults Reduced Fare Quik Pass Daily Unlimited: $5.00 $3.50 Quik Pass 31 Day Unlimited: $70.00 $55.00 Cash Fare $2.00 $1.00 (No transfers for cash fares, If transferring between buses, an additional full fare or use one of the passes must be made).
Intake Procedure
Quik passes can be purchased at Connection, Palm Beach County Governmental Center and at all Palm Beach County Library System brances and FAU Owl Card Center.
