Scholarships for Private Schools available through:

The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)

The Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO)

K-12 students regardless of household income, who are residents of Florida and eligible to enroll in a K-12 public school, can receive a scholarship worth an average of $7,800 to attend a private school that best meets their academic needs. The scholarship can be used for tuition along with other related expenses such as registration, books, testing, and other fees. K-12 students have the option of attending a public school that is a better fit than the one they!€™ve been assigned. Students can receive at least $750 to be used for transportation. Florida students who are not full-time private nor full-time public school students now have access to the Personalized Education Program (PEP) through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program

THE FAMILY EMPOWERMENT SCHOLARSHIP UNIQUE ABILITIES (formerly Gardiner and McKay) is for children ages 3-22 with special needs and allows parents to personalize the education of their children by directing money towards a combination of approved programs and providers including approved private schools, therapists specialists, curriculum, technology-even a college savings account.

THE HOPE SCHOLARSHIP is a new program that helps public school students who are bullied or victims of violence transfer to another public school or an eligible private school. To qualify, the incident must have taken place at a public K-12 school, any school-related or school-sponsored program or activity, or while riding on the school bus or waiting at the bus stop.

TTHE NEW WORLDS READING SCHOLARSHIP ACCOUNTS is an education savings account program that helps public schoolchildren in grades K-5 who struggle with reading and math. The program benefits students in grades K-5 by providing families with access to an education savings account (ESA) of $500 to pay for programs and materials designed to boost reading and math skills.

Children who are in foster care, in out-of-home care or who are homeless may also be eligible for either of the five scholarships.
