Sea Star programs of the Trustbridge Bereavement Center
Description
Provides a safe emotional outlet and healing environment for grieving children. Under the the guidance of clinical staff and trained volunteers, campers participate in therapeutic activities designed to help them interpret and cope with their emotions. Additional activities such as sports, dancing, games and swimming give them time to make friends. The weekend culminates with a unique memorial service during which campers honor departed loved ones around a bonfire. Grief education, loss-specific support groups, adult grief support group, grief support groups for children and teens. Individual counseling for children and teens, grief camps for children and teens and memorial services.

Children ages 5-15 who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Parental permission is required.
