Description

Provides infant mental health treatment between the child and their primary caregiver. Focus is to improve attachment and attunement that may have been impaired due to history of trauma from either party, including medical trauma of infant or history of addiction/depression that can impact the attachment between the two.

Youth Enrichment Services (YES) targets pre-teens and teenagers who are at risk for and/or are experiencing difficult choices with drugs and/or alcohol exposure and use and other high risk behavior. YES consists of Individual/Family and Group Therapy sessions providing pre-teens and teenagers the opportunity to work through concerns, feelings, struggles and challenges they are, or may be, facing. Each participant has the opportunity to develop a plan of action to commit to and maintain a substance free lifestyle or to eliminate high risk behavior such as delinquency, self injurious behaviors and running away. The psycho educational material used is research based and is provided to the teenagers and their parents. Additionally, the program offers an on-going Aftercare support group for the teenagers and one for the parents. Participants of the YES must be residents of Martin County and Drug Court cases are not eligible for this program. Description
