Disaster Assistance to Small Businesses in Florida
Description
Provides low interest Economic Injury disaster Loans to Florida small businesses, small agricultural cooperatives, small aquaculture businesses and private nonprofit organizations. Loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that could have been paid had the disaster not occurred. SBAâs Economic Injury Disaster Loans offer up to $2 million in assistance for a small business. These loans can provide vital economic support to small businesses to help overcome the temporary loss of revenue they are experiencing.

Eligibility
Eligibility for the loan is based on the size and type of business and its financial resources. Loans are not intended to replace lost sales or profits. Eligible small businesses include but are not limited to commercial fishermen, charter boats, hotels, restaurants, retailers, wholesales and manufacturers.

Applicants may apply online at disasterloan.sba.gov. Obtain loan application by calling the SBA's Customer Service Center, or by emailing disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Loan applications can also be downloaded at www.sba.gov.
