Provides hospice care, home-based healthcare services including: skilled nursing
care, home health aides, physical, speech, and occupational therapy; as well as
companions and personal transportation for seniors. The non-profit organization
also provides community wellness services through our Mobile Health Clinic and
Community Health Services programs. VNA is also the only licensed hospice
provider in Indian River County.

Provides Hospice care to patients who have been diagnosed with a life limiting disease as well as support for the patient's family. Services can include care provided by physicians, nurses, home health aides, medical social workers, counselors, chaplains, and trained volunteers. Provides Health Care on Wheels Mobile Unit, same day medical attention at convenient locations throughout Indian River county. Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners on board the Unit can examine, diagnose and prescribe medications for minor, non-urgent illnesses such as upper respiratory infections, sore throats, earaches and minor cuts. Also offers school, sports, and work physicals. Patients are seen on a first come, first served basis, and must arrive 30minutes before the close times in order to be treated. Children must be accompaied by a parent or legal guardian.
