Description:
Promotes independence, dignity and a better quality of life for the blind and visually impaired of Florida. Project Insight is a Florida statewide network of trained, sight-impaired volunteer counselors who have dealt with ramifications of vision loss themselves and can relate personally to questions or problems visually impaired people encounter: as Students, in the work place or as members of families in which visually impaired persons reside. Counselors will assist with information and encouragement, referrals to local, state and national contacts, support and positive attitude toward loss of sight.
