Comprehensive case management services are available to those persons who test positive for sickle cell disease or sickle cell trait, as well as support group activities. Educational presentations and community awareness activities are also available. Services are provided by persons of Haitian background and literature is available in Creole.

Communities Saving Our Babies
Description
Provides members from targeted communities with highest black infant mortality rates to attend a series of classes to improve birth and health outcomes. Class members may be a variety of ages, teen to seniors. Each group of 8-12 people attend four two hour classes covering five major area prenatal care, safe sleep, breastfeeding, domestic violence and the benefits of that male involvement.

Provides services to persons with sickle cell disease or trait and members of their families, including monthly support group meetings and activities for clients. Outreach, education, screening, single-gene genetic counseling, and comprehensive case management services are also available. Education for the public, group presentations, community awareness, and in-service education are also offered. Seminars with continuing education credits are offered on an annual basis for medical and healthcare providers. Some Sickle Cell literature is available in Creole and Spanish.
