Description
Counseling telephone line providing immediate psychological support to cancer patients and their families. Callers will speak with professionally trained social workers and receive counseling support, education information and referral to local services for additional assistance.

Description
Provides co-payment assistance only. Co-payment assistance means if a person has been prescribed an oral or intravenous medication (chemotherapy), but is unable to afford the out-of-pocket costs or co-payment responsibility required by their insurer or Medicare, they may be helped by having some or all of their co-payment paid if they meet the eligibility guidelines of the program

Must meet criteria related to diagnosis, treatment and financial situation. Must also have private insurance or Medicare that covers a portion of the prescribed chemotherapy or cancer drug. Financial help is not available for radiation treatment or symptom management.
