Description
Provides a series of six to eight free lessons that consist of keeping a food diary when they start and at the end, so participants can see what changes are made as a result of practicing what is taught. Lessons will focus on not only health and nutrition, but also on the risks and causes of diabetes and how to prevent the disease by eating healthy.
Hours
Weekly class in the evening 6-8 pm via zoom.
Required Documents
Proof of address and proof of assistance.
Eligibility
Families in Palm Beach County that have at least one child under the age of 5 and receive some type of assistance, such as: WIC, food Stamps, TANG, Head Start.
Fees
No fees charged.
