Description
Provides a system where all women have access to prenatal care and all infants and children up to age three have access to services that promote healthy growth & development. Offers childbirth classes, , labor and postpartum doula services, parenting education, psychosocial and grief counseling and in-home care coordination for pregnant women and infants based on assessment of need. Doula services are designed to provide childbirth education, guidance and support to the mother prenatally, during childbirth and after the delivery of the baby.

Eligibility
Enrolled Healthy Start clients who do not qualify for Medicaid and have entered in prenatal care prior to 18 weeks gestational age.
