The National Do Not Call Registry was created by the Federal government to make it easier and more efficient for consumers to stop getting telemarketing calls they do not want. Consumers may register online at http://www.donotcall.gov or by calling toll-free, 1-888-382-1222 (TTY 1-866-290-4236). You can register your home and mobile phone numbers for free. Your registration will be effective for five years.
