Description
A Florida Power & Light program administered by the Martin County Health & Human Services. Designed to assist customers who are in a crisis situation and are unable to pay their electric bill.

Eligibility
To be eligible for FPL Care To Share Program funds, FPL customers must - reside in the FPL service area - Martin County Residents only. - have identification with the same address as the FPL account - possess a delinquent FPL bill; final notice or disconnect notice; current bill may also be eligible, if the agency caseworker deems appropriate - be in imminent danger of having electric service disconnected - have electric service already disconnected - have a plan to pay future bills - have experienced a personal or family crisis - have exhausted other available energy assistance sources, such as government funded programs and - have an income that falls at or below agency income guidelines.

Martin County Delinquency Diversion Program
Description
Provides assessment of youth to determine necessity of services and appropriate sanction. Once youth has completed required sanctions, their charges will not be filed with the State Attorney and they will be diverted away from the court system.

First time misdemeanor offense by a youth who, at the time of arrest, was 17 year of age or younger.

$5 initial visit.

Referred by Department of Juvenile Justice after approval of the State Attorney.

Individuals 18 years or older who have committed a crime and are diagnosed with a mental health disorder.

Provides assessment of youth to determine necessity of services and appropriate sanctions. Once youth have completed required sanctions, they are able to remain in the Martin County School District and or will not have to attend an alternative school such as Spectrum.
