Description:
Emergency assistance, crisis intervention, self-sufficiency programs, food, and counseling. Disaster assistance provided for clothing needs based on verifiable need. Assistance securing healthcare and food stamp benefits and other necessities based on need, including referrals and linkages. Rent/mortgage/utility assistance to avoid eviction or shutoff, when rent/mortgage/utility is due within 5 days or after that point under the EFSP Program.
CHRISTMAS:
During the months of October and November, applications are taken at the Palm Beach Lakes, Lake Worth and Boca Raton facilities for toys and food. The agency has specific requirements and instructions. Call the Salvation Army to get the specifics.

Must reside in FPL Service area. Hardship, unable to pay electric bill, past due bill, disconnect notice, finale notice.
