Description:

Prevents drowning, non-fatal drowning and other water-related incidents in Palm Beach County by educating residents on water safety and basic rescue techniques. The Coalition offers free land based water safety presentations to audiences of all ages as well as educational displays. After hour requests for presentations/educational displays are available based upon supervisor approval. Additionally, free/reduced cost water safety swim lessons are available year-round to qualified children ages 2-12 years old and their immediate care givers courtesy of the Children's Services Council Palm Beach County and Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners. To fill out an application for the swim lesson program visit the Coalition's website at www.pbcgov.org/dpc and follow the instructions.
