Description:
Rehabilitates sick, injured and orphaned wildlife as part of its efforts to help protect and preserve Florida's natural environment. Using educational means, the center works to reconcile human needs with those of our environment. The theme of the center's community outreach programs emphasizes the sensitive balance of nature and man's influence on this balance. The center offers a number of educational programs designed to alter ecological consciousness in an effort to ensure the survival of threatened and endangered species and the habitat in which they live. These programs, which feature live, non-releasable animals, are customized to all age groups and audiences, and are suitable for schools and other groups.

Visitors hours: Monday-Saturday / 10 am-4:30 pm; Emergency rescue: Every day / 24 hours
