    Description

    Comprehensive outpatient mental health services for children, adolescents and their families. Services include: Evaluation and assessment for children ages 3-17 and their families; individual, group and family therapy. Our therapists are highly trained and use child-friendly, evidence-based models of treatment. Specialties include: Play therapy, Art Therapy, Dialectical behavioral Therapy and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for a wide array of mental health issues including trauma, ADHD, depression, grief, developmental and adjustment issues, sexual abuse, and anxiety. The program offers home, school, outpatient offices and community based services.

    Eligibility

    Any child (starting at age 3), adolescent, or family residing in Palm Beach County is eligible for an assessment to receive mental health services. Admission criteria for the program include clients with a mental health diagnosis who are in need of therapeutic intervention. The level of intervention will be determined at the assessment with outpatient services implemented from a client-directed and strengths-based perspective.

                        Description

                        The outpatient therapy program provides comprehensive community behavioral health services for adults and their families. Mental health services focus on decreasing emotional issues related to stressors, traumas, grief, depression, anxiety, adjustment issues, and mental health or substance use disorders. The clinical staff consists of masters and licensed-level mental health professionals. A wide range of evidence-based practices are utilized in outpatient offices, in client homes, and through Telehealth. These practices include but are not limited to: Individual and family therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-focused therapy.

                            TOP (Teen Outreach Program)

                            Description

                            Provides youth development program that uses a teen club model to help build self-esteem, confidence and goal setting. The program has been proven to help reduce teen pregnancy, lower the risk of school suspension and increase school success among participating youth. During the club, trained adults lead discussions about values and decision-making, health, sexual development, and relationships. Each semester TOP club members also plan a community service project. This volunteer opportunity increases the members' planning skills, empathy and sense of accomplishment. TOP seeks to develop healthy problem-solving behaviors and to encourage responsible management of personal conduct.

                                Description

                                Program offers housing case management to low-income individuals and their families to assist in linkage to affordable housing in Palm Beach County. Head of household must have a documented Mental Health diagnosis and verified income. Program does not provide rental assistance or shelter.

                                Photo ID, SS Card, Proof of income, Psychiatric assessment or mental health assessment with diagnosis.

                                Eligibility

                                Must be a Palm Beach County Resident. Must have a documented mental health and/or co-occurring mental health and substance use diagnosis. Must have documented and stable income.

                                Waitlist is currently closed at the moment and the program is not accepting additional applications. Check back on cpsfl.org to see when it re-opens. Once re-opened, please reach out to program director for application.

                                  The Village

                                  Description

                                  Program offers Transitional Housing and Mental Health support services for adults (18+) without children experiencing homelessness in Palm Beach County. Program offers shared housing with a roommate where an individual pays 30% of their income in rent. Program has rules and regulations that you must agree to.

                                  Must be homeless or at risk of homelessness. Must be an adult without minor children. Must be willing to participate in mental health services tied to program and agree to program requirements and rules.

                                  No fees for services. Must pay 30% of income in rent towards housing.

                                  Send an email to Village@cpsfl.org and request an application. Fill out application and return back to director of program. Waitlist time varies based on bed availability.
