Provides electric payment assistance to eligible residents. Homeowners and Renters are eligible for FPL Care to Share.

Description
Provides Grocery Card Assistance for eligible applicants in need of grocery assistance. Issuing $400 pre-loaded grocery cards to be used for food purchases within the county. Grocery cards can only be used for food grocery purchases. Funding is limited. First come first qualified approved service.

Eligible Palm Beach County residents must be a household in which at least one or more individuals meets all of the following criteria, including but not limited to: 1. Qualifies for unemployment or experienced a reduction of household income, or incurred significant costs, or experienced other financial hardships due to COVID-19 2. Has not received prior Food Assistance from Palm Beach County Community Services Department 3. Had a household income at or below 200% Federal Poverty Guideline (FPG) 4. Must be able to provide documentation of the current COVID-19 crisis. 5. Applications must be submitted online and will be processed on a first-submitted, first qualified, first-served basis, subject to funding availability. All requested information must be uploaded prior to submitting your application

Photo ID for all Adults and SS cards for all Household members. Last two months of paystubs for all adults. Two months of bank statements. Proof of current crisis. Full lease. If lease expired, need addendum. If rent includes other charges like water and sewer, need to see a ledger from the landlord of all charges and amount due.
Eligibility
If already received rent up to $25,000 with ERA or ESG funds, will no longer be eligible 1. Palm Beach County resident 2. Must show a current crisis that reduced income. 3. Renters only 4. Maximum income 80% AMI 5. All household members must be on application. 6. All adults must provide income information.
