Supporting Families in Crisis Program
Description
Provides a voluntary program for families seeking help to address whatever crisis that family may be experiencing and if not addressed, could cause the removal of children from their home. Services include case management, financial aid to avoid evictions or to reinstate utilities, as funding is available. Also, helps with domestic violence and substance abuse issues, in-home counseling to help parents develop parenting skills, stress management, jobs and budgeting skills. In addition, referrals to other community resources to help families get back on their feet.

Monday-Friday / 8:30 am-5 pm; emergency on-call available
Required Documents
Birth certificate and social security card.
Eligibility
Voluntary basis program. Families must have at least one child between the ages of 0-17.
Fees
No fees charged.
Intake Procedure
Initial assessment is taken over the phone and then if appropriate a family advocate is assigned and home visits will be coordinated.
