Council on Aging operates facilities at 1505 Orange Avenue, Fort Pierce and 2501 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie.

Adult Day Care
Description
Supervised daytime care of the physically and/or mentally impaired seniors. Transportation, snacks and hot lunches are provided. This program offers respite from the 24 hours a day responsibility of the care giver.

$70 a day. Congregate meal is free.

In Home a Respite Care Program
Description
Provides relief to caregivers from the responsibility of providing for a loved one who is functionally or mentally impaired. This program offers the following services: supervision; meal preparation, bathing, dressing, feeding, grooming, light housekeeping, laundry, dental hygiene, toileting and transfer/ambulation.
