Description

Medical Quality Assurance (MQA) is responsible for the planning, development and coordination of programs and services of 18 regulatory boards, six councils and five professions directly administered by the Department of Health (DOH). Each profession, except those directly regulated by DOH, is represented by a board or council comprised of individuals licensed within that profession as well as consumers. MQA and its boards develop policies to effectively regulate medical professionals while maintaining the top goal of protecting the health and safety of the citizens of Florida.
