Description:
The Veterans Services office provides all veterans in Indian River County full access to State Certified Veterans Service Officers, who provide updated information, counseling, and direction regarding all available veteran''s services. The division assists veterans and their families in preparing, filing, and appellate procedures, regarding benefit claims due under Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations. It also provides a forum to keep the local community informed of the needs of veterans and changes to Federal, State, and Local laws that affect veterans and their families.
Hours:
Monday-Friday / 9 am-4 pm; Wednesday / Walk-In with Carri at the Vero Beach Office for concerns that take 30 minutes or less; Thursday Walk-In with Barbara at the Sebastian Office for concerns that take 30 minutes or less.

Description
The VA provides hospital care covering the rull range of medical services to veterans. Eligible veterans may receive medical treatment at any VA Medical Center or Outpatient Clinic/Community Based Clinic in Florida. Indian River County coordinates with multiple agencies to provide transportation for medical appointments to various locations in Indian River County, as well as the Fort Pierce CBOC, the St. Lucie West VA Medical Center and the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.

To receive assistance with transportation to a medical appointment you must call and leave a detailed voicemail with your name, last 4 or your SSN, your phone number and date, time, and location of your appointment: Within Indian River County or to West Palm Beach VA Medical Center please call 772-226-1695. To the Ft. Pierce CBOC, St. Lucie West VA Medical Center or Special Mode please call 772-226-1395.
