Description:

The Tax Collector is a Constitutional Officer elected to a four year term. The Tax Collector is responsible for collecting ad valorem (real estate and tangible personal property) taxes and non-ad valorem assessments (such as drainage and solid waste). These taxes are due on November 1 of each year and are delinquent after April 1 of the following year. This office is also responsible for processing applications for titles; issuing registrations for motor vehicles and boats; driver license transactions (including road tests); issuing Disabled Person Parking Permits; hunting and fishing licenses; SunPass transponders and collecting local business and tourist development taxes. Serving Palm Beach County residents only, by reservation only, to book visit: www.pbctax.com. Road tests are suspended during hazardous weather.
